THE Pharmacy Guild of Australia (NSW Branch) has announced, an industry-first electricity deal exclusively for Guild member pharmacies in both New South Wales and the ACT, starting on 01 Jan 2024. The Pharmacy Guild shared on LinkedIn that the plan will include “very attractive” electricity rates, especially for electricity consumed during daylight business hours and “indicative savings are potentially up to $1,000 per annum” for each participating pharmacy. To successfully implement this member benefit the Pharmacy Guild NSW Branch plans to work in conjunction with Nectr, an Australian renewable energy company, wholly owned by South Korea’s Hanwha Energy Corporation and an affiliate of the Hanwha Group, a Fortune 500 corporation, the peak body explained. “With such strong backing, Nectr brings to the table unparalleled technological prowess, trustworthiness, and renewable energy excellence. “Nectr’s focus is on renewable energy and technology with the aim to clean up the energy industry; moving away from the big polluters and making affordable renewable energy accessible to all Australians,” the Guild explained. To avail of this offer, the Guild is encouraging all pharmacy owners to join its organisation HERE. Guild members can sign up for the offer before 17 Nov HERE. JG
