National Pharmacies has recognised pharmaceutical organisation Viatris for ethical excellence with three different Supplier of the Year awards. The National Pharmacies Supplier of the Year Awards, held in Adelaide on Wed, recognised quality, innovation and integrity among its network of suppliers for pharmaceutical and health products, under their three categories called Ethical, Retail and Optical Excellence. Among the 15 awards given, the multinational pharmaceutical organisation, Viatris, claimed the top honours of Ethical Supplier of the Year for Commercial Terms, Ethical Supplier of the Year for Supply Chain, and Rachel Pears from Viatris for Ethical Account Manager of the Year. National Pharmacies and Viatris also recently extended a joint blister-pack recycling program, which aims to divert more than two million medication blister packs from landfill by the end of this year (PD 25 Jul). National Pharmacies CEO Vito Borrello said, “our suppliers are an integral part of our success and are vital to the important role we play within our community”. “Acknowledging the efforts of everyone who works so hard is fundamental to our success. “Well done to all our winners.” National Pharmacies Retail Supplier of the Year, the Sapphire Group, picked up two awards in recognition of outstanding field support and training, exceptional communication and a commitment to growing business together. Queensland-based natural health science company Metagenics was recognised for Excellence in the Small Supplier category. The National Pharmacies Optical category awards went to Zeiss for Commercial Terms, ProOptics for Supply Chain, Maui Jim for Communication and Service and The Elusive Miss Lou was recognised for Excellence (Small Supplier), see more HERE.
