Specially formulated toothpaste for kids. Your kids’ tender first teeth require special dental care. The Australian Dental Association recommends that children under 6 use a half-strength fluoride (500-550PPM) toothpaste, which should be substituted with the normal adult-strength toothpaste when your child reaches 6 years of age. Fluoride is important to your child’s short and long-term dental health, as it provides protection against acids generated from sugar to help prevent cavities and tooth decay and keep their enamel strong. Consult your dentist to make sure the total fluoride ingested from all sources is at appropriate levels.
The Australian Dental Association recommends toothbrushing should be done twice per day. It should be done in the morning and again at night for two minutes each time. Brushing your teeth at night should be the last thing you do before bed, with no food or drink after brushing.
Brushing for two minutes means brushing the teeth in each section of the mouth for approximately 30 seconds.
Directions
Whether it’s after breakfast, first thing in the morning, after dinner, or right before bedtime, have your kids brush their teeth thoroughly two times per day. As per ADA 2019 guidelines, toothpaste should always be used under the supervision of a responsible adult. Have them apply a small, pea-sized amount to a child-sized soft toothbrush and brush gently up and down and round and round for about 2 minutes for a healthy mouth and strong teeth. Young children should not be permitted to eat toothpaste.STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
